who we are
About Shoulder to Soldier
Shoulder to Soldier is a charity that helps veterans when they need support; this action packed charity was founded by a person who is passionate about the armed forces: Linda Fisher.
Working across the UK, Shoulder to Soldier offer a friendly service for not only serving personnel, veterans but also their families .
Why are we passionate about offering this support? That’s an easy question to answer –its “because it's the right thing to do”
Our Armed Forces and their families are disadvantaged through service and we need to be there ready to support them when required.
Our holistic whole family approach will support you and your family at your time of need.
We also want to invest in raising the profile of and supporting our Cadet Organisations. They do a fantastic job often without access to funding
Linda was Invited to Downing Street in 2014 for her work on the Armed Forces. Linda was a finalist in the Soldiering On Awards 2016, “Working Together “ category nominated by 42 Brigade Northwest and sponsored by the Forces in Mind Trust. Linda has raised the profile for Armed Forces Families across the Country. Linda is endorsed by many veterans and Organisations for her passion, drive and commitment.
